League Guidelines

ProAm Rules & Discipline

Our comprehensive rules and disciplinary procedures ensure fair play and maintain the integrity of all ProAm Football competitions.

Match Rules
  • Goalkeepers must remain within their designated penalty area
  • Kick-ins replace traditional throw-ins
  • Slide tackles are prohibited — indirect free kick awarded
  • Standard fouls result in a direct free kick
  • Reckless tackles result in a two-minute sinbin
  • Denying clear goal-scoring opportunity: three-minute sinbin
  • Penalties taken 8 yards from goal, one-step run-up
  • Defensive walls must be set 5 yards away
  • Time wasting penalised with corner to opposing team
Reporting Process
  1. Incident reported to match official or organiser
  2. Review conducted by ProAm Football committee
  3. All parties involved will be contacted for statements
  4. Decision communicated within 48 hours
Disciplinary Actions

Verbal Abuse

Immediate sinbin and potential match suspension.

Physical Violence

Immediate dismissal and league suspension pending review.

Racism or Discrimination

Permanent exclusion from all ProAm Football competitions.

Repeated Dangerous Play

Escalating suspensions and potential team expulsion.
