How old do I have to be to play?

Can I join on my own, or do I need a full team?

Both work. Enter a full team and you get your own slot in the league. Register as an individual and we either place you in a team that needs numbers or add you to our player pool.

How much does it cost and when do we pay?

It's £45 per team per match - split across your squad that's a few pounds each. Nothing is due to register interest. Once we confirm your place, the captain pays a single-week £45 deposit to claim your slot in the league, then an optional weekly £45 subscription link opens two weeks before your first fixture.

Do I pay anything to register interest?

No. Registering interest is free and commits you to nothing. Payment only comes in once we've confirmed your league and kick-off time, and that's the single-week deposit.

What is the deposit for?

The deposit is one week's fee (£45) and it claims your team's place in the league so nobody else can take it. It's credited against your season and returned if you leave the league.

Can we cancel, and do we get the deposit back?

Yes - free cancellation. Your deposit comes back to you when your team leaves the league. Just let us know so we can offer the slot to a waiting team.

How many teams are in a league?

12 teams per league. Places are claimed in deposit order, and the live count of teams taken is shown on the register page. When a league fills we open a waitlist.

I've registered interest. What happens next?

A member of our team contacts you by email or phone with your league, kick-off time and payment details. Your captain is then set up with a login, and they create logins for the rest of the squad.

What is the league format?

Every team plays each other once per season. Matches are 40 minutes on a 4G floodlit pitch. We provide the pitch, footballs, bibs and FA-qualified referees - you just turn up for your fixtures.

Are there prizes for winning the league?

Yes - league winners can receive trophies, medals or other prizes. Full details are confirmed at the start of each season.

Where and when do you play?

Our flagship venue is Beaumont School, Austen Way, St Albans
AL4 0XB. The new season kicks off on Tue 22 Sept, with 40-minute matches every tuesdays from 8:30-10:30pm.

Is there parking and changing at the venue?

Yes. Beaumont School has on-site parking and changing facilities. Full arrival directions go out to captains before the season starts.

What if we're short of players on the night?

Bring a ringer or ask us to draft someone in from our individual player pool. Get in touch before match day and we'll help - games don't get called off for short numbers.

What happens if the opposition doesn't turn up?

Your team is awarded three automatic points, and where possible we'll arrange a friendly at a reduced fee so you still get your game in.

Can we bring supporters?

Absolutely - supporters are welcome on the sidelines. We just ask everyone to respect the venue, the referees and the other teams.

Are matches actually filmed?

Yes - every single match is filmed using Trball tracking technology. Nothing to book, nothing extra to pay.

When can we watch it back?

Footage goes up within 24 hours of the final game of the night. You'll find it in your portal against the result, with a play button on any match that has video.

How long do we keep access, and can we download it?

Full match footage stays on the portal for 12 months, and you can download it for personal use at any point in that period. We also share standout clips on Instagram and TikTok.

How do players log in?

Players use the player login with a username only - no password. Go to Log in, type your username and you're straight into your portal with your fixtures, results and match videos.

Where do I get my username?

Accepted Answer

Your captain creates it for you when they set up the squad (ProAm staff can create it too). It's usually your name in lowercase with a dash, for example jack-smith. If it isn't recognised, ask your captain to check it or re-add you.

What can I see once I'm logged in?

Your team's upcoming fixtures, completed results with a play button for the match video, and the live league table. Captains see extra tabs for payments and squad management.

How do referees log in?

Referees have their own door. On the login page, press the 'I'm a referee' button underneath the player form, then sign in with the email address and password we set up for you. From there you report scores and match events.

Why are there separate logins?

So you only ever see the screen built for you. Players and captains start on the player login; press down once for the referee login and once more for staff. Nothing else clutters your screen.

I've forgotten my password - how do I reset it?

Referees and staff use 'Forgot password?' on their login screen to get a reset email, then set a new password. Players and captains have no password at all, so there is nothing to reset - just your username. If a staff account has no mailbox, an admin can set a new password from the staff portal.

How do I add my squad?

Log in with your captain username and open the 'My squad' tab. Add each player's name, and the system suggests their username. Remove anyone who leaves the team and their login stops working straight away.

How do payments and confirmations work?

Your portal shows the single-week deposit link first, then the weekly £45 subscription link once it opens two weeks before your first fixture. Bank transfer is also supported - use the reference shown in your portal and our staff manually confirm each payment against your team. Leave the league and the deposit comes back to you.

How do referrals work?

Every team gets a unique referral code inside their portal. When a new team registers with your code and joins a league, your team earns a free match week.

How do I referee for ProAm?

Apply through our Become a Referee page. Once you're approved we create your referee account and email you the sign-in details.

How do I report a result?

Sign in to the referee portal, open the fixture you officiated and submit the final score plus any cards or incidents. Results feed straight into the league table and the players' portals.
